Tahoe’s Cassandra Joseph Honored at Nevada Women’s Fund Event

Tahoe’s Vice President Corporate Secretary & Associate General Counsel Cassandra Joseph was honored at the May 24, 2018 Salute to Women of Achievement event hosted by the Nevada Women’s Fund (NWF). Cassandra Joseph was escorted by Tahoe Resources President & CEO Ron Clayton. The “Nevada Shines” event celebrates women who shine in their profession and community service throughout the region, and promotes NWF’s important mission to inspire achievement in women and families through educational scholarships and grants.

As stated on the Nevada Women’s Fund’s website, “NWF works with community donors and supporters to raise financial contributions and other resources to support northern Nevada women and families. We identify critical social needs and address them through award of individual education scholarships and community grant making to community non-profit organizations that share the NWF mission to strengthen and empower our community.”

Cassie Joseph is an adventurer and travel enthusiast who spent her former years as a raft guide in Zimbabwe. She moved to Reno in 2006 after working at private law firms and the California Attorney General’s Office in San Francisco. She litigated patent cases in Reno before joining the Nevada Attorney General’s Office and then Tahoe Resources where she practices corporate law. Cassie’s enthusiasm for learning and the outdoors is contagious among her peers and friends, and sometimes even her two teenagers.
